Rocket Ashtanga-Vinyasa originated in the early 1990s in San Francisco. It is a dynamic and warming practice based on traditional Ashtanga Yoga, but with a seasoning of challenging and fun exercises with an emphasis on inverted poses and balance, in addition to pelvic and heart openness. Ma'in Shenhar is an Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga teacher. In her classes, she emphasizes proper work, listening to the body, with a lot of humor and self-acceptance.
